Envelope mini album part 2 with Stampin Up Postage Due, The Open Sea & By the Seashore

Hello again, today we are continuing with the remainder of the pages in the cruise mini envelope album project (click here for part 1 and here for the coordinating card & suitcase!)

For the above page I used just the hibiscus style flower from the Postage Due stamp set (w 126395 £19.95/c 126397 £15.95) , having masked the rest of the stamp off before committing it to the Calypso Coral ink pad (I did try to fussy cut the flower but oh my it would have been a fussy cut!!)

The banners are made from Tea for Two designer series papers (129311 £9.95), still my favourite from the Spring/Summer brochure.

They are fixed with a  large button retired from the Autumn/Winter brochure but still much loved in my stash and threaded with linen thread :)

The pull out journal note is the Top Note die (p193 113463 £18.95) with a looped piece of natural trim ribbon (129287 £6.25) as a handle.

The next page features more from the By the Seashore set (w 126530 £20.95, c 126532 £16.95) stamped in crumb cake and then fussy cut - I think these shell shapes are are simply gorgeous :) They are dimensioned to a piece of naturals ivory cardstock (108630 £6.75) and pool party ruffled ribbon (122975 £8.95) to give some depth. I then splattered the page with pool party ink using the colour spritzer tool (107066 £10.95). The anchor stamp is from The Open Sea set (w 126460 £18.95, c 123032 £18.95) stamped in pool party ink.

Now onto the last page ... this features the Travel Post set again for the first two stamps and the French Foliage set (w120845 £17.95/c 121166 £13.95) for the last two images. The splatter stamp is also from French Foliage.

I've stamped all of these images in crumb cake onto the new Canvas Creations canvas sheet (129375 £3.75) which can be stamped, decorated, watercoloured and cut with Big Shot dies - terrifically multi purpose! I also love the distressed thread bare look for the stamped squares. The pull out journal note is from the Apothecary Accents framelits set (127003 £20.95) again in Calypso Coral cardstock.

So that my friends, is the cruise memento gift set - I haven't heard from my friend yet - do you think she'll like it? If you stopped by today and liked what you saw please leave me a comment, I love to hear your feedback!

Will be back tomorrow with another altered object for you , so hope to see you then!
