Birthday banner using glitter pegs & Stamping Up punches

It's party time here today for a 10th birthday in the family so we have a party decoration & favour idea for you  ..

Apologies for the poor lighting but hopefully the smile on my darling daughters face will lighten your day!

I've made a banner from oblong pieces of Whisper White cardstock and then dutifully decorated them with Polka Parade designer series paper, embellished with punched hearts, butterflies, flowers & other shapes in coordinating paper with scallop punch edges. The letters are stamped with Notable Alphabet in Raspberry Ripple ink.

The altered pegs are also decorated in the same scap pieces of papers and then covered in Crystal Effects to seal & gloss them and then I sprinkled them with Iridescent Ice embossing powders for that extra little bit of bling & sparkle!

Partying on with this project over at Decorate to Celebrate - party decoration, Pennys papercrafting #126 - diecuts, Whimsical Designs - alter it, Little Miss Muffett  - paper piecing, Shellys Images - kids theme, QKR Stampede - pink/yellow/green, Hiding in my craft room #97 - super scraps, 613 Avenue Create - anything goes (shaped), Pile It On - for a teen, Created with love CWLC # 41 - bling, Creative creations challenge #10 - for a child.

Hope to see you here again tomorrow - we're heading back out to sea :)
