Using markers for detail on Swallowtail stamp

Happy Sunday! Hope you are having a great weekend and that the weather is being kind to you - we are once again grey and gloomy with our long range weather forecast not showing much improvements for the "summer" months ahead :(

So to cheer us up, here's a hot colour combo fun in the sun featuring the wonderful Swallowtail stamp ..

How's that for hot summer colours  - orange, pink & yellow :)

Calypso coral is my base cardstock and I've run the Very Vintage jumbo roller wheel over it in Tangerine Tango to create some background.

The butterfly was coloured with the stampin write markers in all the yellow, orange & pink hues (8 in total!) with the body in Early Expresso. Two basic jewel rhinestones finished the antenna.

The sentiment is stamped from the gorgeous new Happy Day stamp set available in the brand new catalogue from 2nd July - if you'd like a copy please get in touch! The paper is from the retiring on 30th June Sunshine & Sprinkles set so if you'd like this paper order from me asap! Some calypso coral bakers twine, a brights brad and another basic jewel rhinestone and she's ready to fly :)
Swallowtail (w 129213 £15.95, c 129216 £12.95)

Sunshine & Sprinkles 126922 £9.95 for 12 sheets of 12" x 12" double sided papers

See you tomorrow with more sneak peeks from the new Happy Days stamp set :)
