No cutting required 12" x 12" Stampin Up UK origami folding christmas gift box

Today's project is a really clever little box made from 1 sheet of 12" x 12" patterned paper - no cutting required! I got the idea from the talented France Martin on her Stamp & Scrap with Frenchie blog. Come and take a look ...

They  look pretty innocuous from the outside, heh? But slip off the decorative band, lay out flat and open ...

Cool huh? That's the beauty of Stampin Up double sided designer series paper - it's patterned on both sides :)

The size is just perfect to hold a candle, pretty box or tin of treats or another gift - and best of all when the packaging is finished with it can be unfolded and used for another project :)

The flower embellishment is also easy to make using the Stampin Up Blossom punch - simply punch out several blossom shapes out of card, sponge the edges with a contrasting ink, scrunch them together then gently unfold and secure together in centre with a brad, ruffling and re-position the layers as you go.
